Cub Scout Pack 617, chartered by Chelsea Church of God, was founded in 2009, in order to provide boys (first through fifth grade) with a quality Scouting program in Chelsea, AL. Through it all, the boys learn to function in small groups (the Den), larger groups (the Pack), and to have fun in age-appropriate educational play. The boys get to learn Archery, shoot BB guns, and oh yeah, we go camping too.
We hold Den and Pack meetings at 6:30pm on Tuesdays at the Chelsea Church of God on Hwy 39 in Chelsea, Alabama. Each month usually includes one Pack meeting, one to two Den meetings and a Go See It, where the boys get to do things around the community.
